Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and ANMOL GOMRA for using Tapeo. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them.
Early access
Tapeo is in early access. Features, plans, and limits may change, and the service may be interrupted or have bugs. We work to keep your saved work safe, but keep your own copies of anything important (Download handoff ZIP and file downloads are always available).
Your account
Give accurate details, keep your password safe, and use one account per person. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16.
Plans and limits
The free trial and any other plan include the limits shown on the plans page and in your plan meter. Do not create extra accounts, automate requests, or otherwise try to get around limits. There are no paid plans yet; if we add them, prices and payment terms will be shown before you buy.
Your designs stay yours
You keep all rights to the designs, files, and content you put into Tapeo, and to what it produces for you, subject to the rights of others (for example open-source process kits and tool licenses). You give us permission to store, process, and transmit your content only as needed to run the service for you, including sending it to the AI provider described in the Privacy Policy. We do not publish your projects.
Acceptable use
Do not use Tapeo to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload malware, attack or overload the service, access others' data, or design anything whose export or development you are not legally allowed to carry out. You are responsible for complying with export-control and sanctions laws that apply to your designs.
AI and tool results
AI suggestions can be wrong, and tool results depend on your inputs, the process kit, and the flow used. Results are engineering evidence for exploring and learning, not foundry signoff. Before manufacturing anything, have the design reviewed and verified with qualified foundry flows. You are responsible for decisions you make based on Tapeo.
Third-party tools and process kits
Tapeo runs open-source design tools and process design kits under their own licenses. Their outputs, and your use of them outside Tapeo, are subject to those licenses.
Ending use
You can stop using Tapeo at any time and delete your account on the Account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or others at risk, and we may end the service with reasonable notice so you can download your work.
No warranty; limited liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or the cost of manufacturing, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (zero for free plans). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell signed-in users about significant changes; continuing to use Tapeo after that means you accept them.
